Should this community site be used by the Architecture Community in Second Life?

I have treated the ARCH as the Web presence of the SL architecture community. This site has different affordances that are nice. So, I hope that there can be an obvious differentiation between this site and the ARCH. Like most, I am bogged down (or should that be blogged down) with all of the sites I wish i could read, even with RSS feeds.

Unfortunately, The Arch hasn't really been used by the community as a public forum. The blog format doesn't really lend itself well to open discussion and sharing of machinima and screenshots the way this site could. We'll see! =)

i think this is a perfect platform for a more asynchronous exchange of ideas. Perhaps a more generic title such as 'Architecture in the Metaverse' might be more encompassing.

It's nice to have a discussion format to counterbalance to the sheer amount of information The Arch supplies. The key, as always, is participation. Lets get some groups going!
